Information for parents in their first few days on the neonatal unit available in print.
This information has been written especially to answer the questions parents might have when they first arrive on the unit.
It explains how neonatal care works, who you might see on the unit, what the equipment does, the care your baby might get, and how you can parent your baby on the unit.
It also has helpful ideas for getting more support, and places to write down questions you might have, or notes on how you’re feeling.
Note: This booklet replaces some of the information previously included in Bliss Family Handbook and Your Special Care Baby. Because of this, these two booklets are no longer available. Look out more for information updates to come!
